There are multiple providers of VDRs on the market. I am wondering what’s your experience with different VDRs and if there are some solutions standing out with special features.
most of these are simple platforms. would be efficient if both parties can agree on a single VDR rather than having to train the teams on two different platforms

There are many VDR providers available however all of them have different features. Be sure to investigate all features before commiting to certain VDR provider, its not all in the price. Some VDR can save you a lot of money and especially time (permissions settings, translation etc.).

In our of our transactions we used Ansarada as a VDR provider and i should admit it has a lot useful functions and can support the whole M&A cycle from preparation to closing. Some of the key features which I liked: 1) various user permissions (view, edit, download) and role-based access control; 2) monitoring of user activity and document access; 3) allows not only to store the documents, but also manage inquiries from both parties; 4) mobile access. Also once you set up an account, you can subscribe to theirs mailing list and they send useful M&A activity reports.
