Our company recently acquired a business and simultaneously hired a new leader, who was a partner throughout the due diligence process and is a good representative of the parent company and implementing the integration model. He is now simultaneously leading a new organization and responsible for their operations (with the support of a senior leadership team) and connecting with the parent on integration tasks. I am wondering if anyone has worked through a similar model, and if additional engagement from the parent was helpful for the new team members or if less engagement is preferred if it is a stand alone company.
Thanks!
