In our company, there is a dedicated person within the IMO responsible for managing all aspects of communication, both internally and externally. While I don’t have full visibility into the details, there is a clear workstream lead for communication. Past challenges with cultural integration and acceptance have heightened our awareness of the importance of timely and effective communication during acquisitions.
To my knowledge, we do not hire external consultants for this function. Instead, our communication lead, who has extensive experience in both internal and external communication, ensures that messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with our strategic goals.
