    Does it make sense to have a dedicated team representing all functions / business areas for both the M&A process itself as the post merger integration. Objective would be to build knowledge on how to best execute on this for the best results.

    If the scope of the project allows yes. If the budget allows to have an experienced appointee (internal or external) in integrations it could be very helpful.

    A dedicated team will not only help define the company’s M&A strategy, but would also be very valuable in coordinating the efforts of all teams to ensure an efficient and smooth M&A process.
