    Great feedback above – just another thought to add to this thread: by the time HR steps in, cultural integration may already be an afterthought. Although HR is the department best equipped to conduct a deep dive into the cultures of both organizations and identify potential cultural clashes, they are sometimes only engaged AFTER a deal has been finalized. If HR is involved early on, they can flag these issues during the due diligence phase and help executives assess whether the cultures are compatible.
