Thomas Gruber

Thomas Gruber is Executive Director of Bancor International Limited and Fujin Impact Partners, where he steers the firms’ alternative‑asset strategy across Asia‑Pacific. Based between Seoul and Hong Kong, he leads Bancor’s private‑equity vertical focused on infrastructure, structuring growth and buy‑out transactions for mid‑market enterprises. Concurrently, he oversees the group’s impact‑investment arm in Malaysia, deploying catalytic capital into climate‑resilient infrastructure and inclusive‑finance initiatives that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

 

Earlier appointments span buy‑side M&A, leveraged buy‑outs and investment‑banking roles, giving him a comprehensive vantage on cross‑border capital markets and corporate‑finance advisory.

 

Thomas is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), a Certificated Professional Banker of the Chartered Banker Institute, and a Certified Portfolio Manager. He contributes frequently as a speaker, member and brand ambassador for the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA) in Vienna and Zürich, where he advocates rigorous professional standards and responsible investment.
