How do best identify key employees in target companies to retain? There have been some interviews that expose how senior managers have been incompetent/do not actually know what is happening in their own departments/teams.
At times to speaking to junior employees can help identify who they see as strong. They can provide a different perspective and at times help identify who are the good leaders within the organization that are key to retain.
