I know that that the change management is important part of the integration, however, I have not heard much about how it variates across industries? Have you any experiences with how it should be approached differently in a Manufacturing company vs. a Financial Service Provider or Technology company?
This is an interesting question, and one I think I would address from a cultural standpoint. Cultures do have a certain tendency to be similar in an industry, so that might have some crossover within industries – but I would certainly evaluate it from a cultural standpoint prior to deciding the approach. The approach might be incredibly different due to the specific company cultures as opposed to the industry.
