F2F meeting opportunities during M&A process

    I think online meetings through Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc. have become very natural recently. Especially in case of cross-border deals, opportunities of face-to-face meetings are limited. When do you think is the best time to meet in person and what is the purposes? Also, does your company have any regulations or traditions about those meetings when you are at buy-side?
    (Ex. If a deal is over 1M USD, the project leader (buy-side) must meet the key person (in the target company) at least once during DD or at Management Presentation)
