Operational efficiencies post M&A transaction

    What’re some other ways besides reducing headcount to achieve operational efficiencies post an M&A transaction?


    Some other ways would be to take efficiencies that the other organization had in place and integrate them into the current processes. I have seen where swapping out existing vendors for a vendor that was being used from the incoming organization has helped streamline processes and improve efficiencies. This is a good time to look at any third party vendors you may have with a contract that will soon be expiring to see if there are a better option that the other organization already has a relationship with as you can leverage that into a better deal and a faster implementation timeline.
