Hi Yvonne, We do not use any software suite per se’, we use Smartsheet’s to help with Post close Integration. Each area is defined with tasks/milestones and they would differ based on a ‘fold-in’ versus a ‘standalone’. Not every acquisition is the same so each tasks may or may not be relevant depending what is discovered during the due diligence.
I’ve found what’s more important than having templates is first to build a set of functional playbooks for what successful integration looks like across the company. This generally includes a series key milestones, supporting activities, cross-functional dependencies, and defined roles/responsibilities of all key personnel.
