Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez plan to introduce the “Pandemic Anti-Monopoly Act,” which would impose a large merger moratorium until the Federal Trade Commission “determines that small businesses, workers, and consumers are no longer under severe financial distress.” Are U.S. businesses expecting the next big merger wave?
