How do you track value realization during post merger integration process? Any IT system available in market which can be used for managing post merger integration activities?

I strongly believe that what is the most important is to decide what the value is for each deal before the deal; the value to be realized by deal should be different from one another. Therefore, I am quite sure weather it is needed to use IT system or something similar.
