Before my CPMI certification, I participated in several integration efforts; however, the process didn’t feel very well organized, and I participated without fully understanding the drivers of the acquisition.  I felt like a better structure or roadmap had to exist to merge two companies more efficiently.  The CPMI training has equipped me with the framework to effectively implement an integration plan.  The instructors at IMAA are practitioners with real world experience who can relate to the variety of issues surrounding post-merger integration efforts.  This was a very worthwhile training that will add tremendous value to me as an executive and investor.
